|Q: At what age can my child start in Gymnastics?
A: We start children in our Wigglers class right when they start walking. Gymnastics gives each child a great base for all sports, teaching them balance, hand-eye coordination, strength and flexibility. This is also a great place to learn to follow basic instruction and socialize with other great kids and families!
Q: How do I enroll my child?
A: We offer online registration through our parent portal. Please click the Parent Login button above to be directed to our online portal where you can create a free account, register for available classes or book a birthday party. We are happy to assist over the phone in any way we can. Signing up for a free account does not require you to register for a class. It allows you to see all the available classes and register for one if you wish. For more information about Registration, please click on the Master Policies and Guidelines tab under the Registration tab above.
Q: How much is the registration fee?
A: The registration is an annual fee that we charge the 1st of June of $40.00. This is due for each child upon enrollment. However, we do pro-rate this as the year progresses.
Q: Do you offer a trial class?
A: For any girl ages 5 and up, we offer a free evaluation. During this evaluation, your child will be assessed and placed in the correct class for them to be the most successful. We do this to have the opportunity to meet each child that walks into our program and get the chance to meet each family as well. We strive to keep our business family oriented. As for our younger aged children and our boys, we do offer a free trail class for these children to make sure they are happy and successful in their aged classes.
Q: What should my child wear to class?
A: We have plenty of leos in our AE Pro Shop if your daughter would like to wear a leo, but it is not required. We do ask that they wear comfortable clothes with no buttons or zippers with their hair pulled back out of their faces for their safety.
Q: What do I do during my child’s class?
A: We have a wonderful “ALL Around Café and Bar” upstairs with a perfect viewing area of the entire gym for you to relax, get some food and drinks, and enjoy watching your child.
Q: Do I need to stay during my child’s class?
A: We do not require you to stay during your child’s class if you child is okay with this. We do require you drop off your child no earlier than 10 minutes before their class time starts and they must promptly be picked up at the end of their class time. We understand emergent things happen but if your child is not picked up promptly at the end of their class without AE staff approval, AE reserves the right to charge a child care fee of $10.00 per 5 minutes after the first 10 minutes that your child has not been picked up. We do this as safety remains our number one concern and we will not let your child roam around unattended.
Q: How do payments work?
A: We do automatic billing with a choice for your payment to be pulled on the 1st, 5th, 10th, or 15th of each month. There is a $10.00 monthly fee to opt out of automatic billing.
Q: When can my child start class?
A: Your child can start class anytime with us! If you join in the middle of the month, we will pro rate that month’s tuition for you. Our classes are ongoing and you can start and stop class at any time. If you intend to drop, you must do so before the 1st of the next month to avoid paying that next month’s tuition.
Q: What is your make-up policy?
A: We do offer one make – up class per month for missed classes. We do ask that you make them up in the month in which the gymnast misses their scheduled class. We figure our tuition cost with our designated closures factored in to the cost. We do not offer make-ups for our designated closures as we have already factored that cost in for you.
Q: Do you offer a sibling discount?
A: Yes, we do offer a 10% sibling discount. Sibling discounts are excluded from Team classes.
Q: How long does my child stay in each level for?
A: We base our Kinder program (ages walking-5) off age, so they will stay in those classes until they age to the next level. This does not mean they will not keep progressing and learning new skills. We make sure each child continues to grow in our program each week. Our Recreational program (ages 6-17) is based off skill level. This means there is no set time for your child to move up. We constantly are working on the skills they need for the next level and evaluating progress. We will contact you as soon as your child is ready to move to the next level.
Q: What can my child expect to learn in class?
A: We base all of our gymnastics classes off USAG guidelines. Our tumbling classes focus on basic tumbling skills and then progress into harder tumbling. Our ninja classes focus on different ninja obstacle courses and strength exercises packed with fun.
Q: What is open gym, and do I have to be a member to attend open gym?
A: Open gym is a great time for any of our athletes to get some extra practice or have fun playing in the gym. We offer this on Saturday nights from 6:30-9:00pm. We do require all people to attend to be enrolled in our program.
Q: Do you offer adult classes?

If we remain closed, we do allow an extra make up day for that closure.
